Yes. This would be great - whether on Post- or Pre-pay. And one more thing: They should all facilitate voice function on the same. Sometime back, using Orange's 3G+ modem (before their 21.xMbps modem), their DashBoard allowed me to make voice calls on the same modem/SIM card. Safaricom's Huawei E1820 has such functionality but why it's disabled for KE is what I do not understand. On Thu, Nov 17, 2011 at 11:22, S.M. Muraya <murigi.muraya@gmail.com> wrote:

We have devices that can support the set-up described below enabling mobile service providers to deliver 3G services and Telephony in one CPE especially to the SME's and remote branches. It allows access network resource optimization [CPE will force route voice to GSM and data to 3G], 10 Sip Registers (user accounts) via IP + a couple via FXand Easy migration from GSM/3G trunk to SIP or failover SIP to GSM/3G Regards, Eunice Wafula +254 734 531794 www.voip-kenya.net On Thu, Nov 17, 2011 at 11:39 AM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:

Safaricom can, but I doubt they can beat the deadline. And there is a condition to this: You'll need to have a Corporate Account with at least 10 lines for them to assign you an APN. · *10,000 Kshs one off set-up fee* · *Deposit for data line will depend on the tariff selected (usually equivalent to the monthly charge)* · *Corporate Application form* · *Out of bundle acknowledgement (APN lines are activated under an aggregate account which can’t be barred)* You'll also have to make them understand that you are not just after an private APN, but after a static PUBLIC IP on a SIM card. This whole process cannot be done in a day at Safaricom, but again, I am not speaking on their behalf. Just from my experience.
