Safaricom can, but I doubt they can beat the deadline.

And there is a condition to this: You'll need to have a Corporate Account with at least 10 lines for them to assign you an APN.

·         10,000 Kshs one off set-up fee

·         Deposit for data line will depend on the tariff selected (usually equivalent to the monthly charge)

·         Corporate Application form

·         Out of bundle acknowledgement (APN lines are activated under an aggregate account which can’t be barred)

You'll also have to make them understand that you are not just after an private APN, but after a static PUBLIC IP on a SIM card.

This whole process cannot be done in a day at Safaricom, but again, I am not speaking on their behalf. Just from my experience.

I’d be surprised if Safaricom couldn’t do a static IP on a post-pay dongle. But getting it in a hurry.....

New install for a site Access Kenya has disconnected / messed up. Incidentally, they found out it is Access Kenya that owes them money.

Have you got a service from them already that you just need a static IP on, or is it a new install?

Would you count Zuku as wireless with their radio service? They offer static IPs.

Which wireless internet service providers / solutions are currently providing static IP addresses?

How long did it take for the provider to set you up?
