Listers, Just wondering do we have a National ICT Policy either in the draft or completed form? This is because, IMHO, for a country like Kenya to achieve economic growth based on application of ICT to supplement the traditional aspects of development, then a National ICT policy should come in handy to aid in pointing out the various points and roles that the various players should take. How for instance, are we to achieve Vision 2030, if a national policy on ICT does not exist? Regards, Mburu
I agree. We need the policy. I saw a copy of a policy at http://www.ist-africa.org/home/files/Kenya_ICTPolicy_2006.pdf. I am not sure if there is a more recent copy. Cleophas On Tue, Jun 28, 2011 at 11:30 AM, Solomon Mburu Kamau <solo.mburu@gmail.com>wrote:

On the same breadth there was the ICT strategy 2006 which was to run until 2010. There was an implementation plan with proposals of committees to do the implementation. Anyone aware how much was achieved and has there been any evaluation of the results to establish to what extent the objectives were met? Now that its period has expired, are there plan to come up with another one? yours, James Anyone aware if On 6/28/2011 12:18 PM, warigia bowman wrote:
