Under the leadership of the new Permanent Secretary for Information
and Communications, the Cabinet adopted an ICT policy in January 2006.91
By the time of publication, however, the policy included significant
revisions taken from public comments submitted by the private sector,
academics, and civil society groups. According to a press release issued by
the Communications Commission of Kenya, the ICT Policy ―will replace
the Telecommunications and Postal Sector Guidelines of December 2001
and set up an enabling framework for the . . . communications industry in
Kenya.‖ Kenya‘s ICT Policy was published as official policy guidelines on
March 31, 2006.

Dear Mburu,

Yes, Kenya has a National ICT policy. It's actually online if you do a

revised in 2006.
