Good news to mobile phone campanies! The government is going to waive the excise duty and push connectivity to about 18 million subscribers. But don’t hold your breadth! This was a proposal given by PS Ndemo to other arms of government that are concerned with collecting taxes. Ndemo said the government was committed to reducing taxes to ensure universal connectivity.
