Good news to mobile phone campanies! The government is going to waive the excise  duty  and push connectivity to about 18 million subscribers.

 

But don’t hold your breadth! This was a proposal given by PS Ndemo to other arms of government that are concerned with collecting taxes. Ndemo said the government was committed to reducing taxes to ensure universal connectivity.

 

The song about duty and other charges continues, but lets hope something is done soon.
