What is the wisdom in allowing one global conglomerate to control<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodafone_Essar>two supposedly independent telecom companies. Let us not kid ourselves by saying they are competing independently. they both serve the interests of their master. What is the CCk's position on this? -- Regards, Mark Mwangi http://mwangy.posterous.com
Yu is owned by Essar . Essar had a partnership with Vodafone in India which I don't think extended to other countries.
At Michael and the rest please have a look at http://www.yu.co.ke/company-profile and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodafone_Essar to me it is clear that Vodafone now owns the Indian Essar operation which is the parent company of Yu Kenya. Local shareholding information is scanty. On Wed, May 11, 2011 at 7:59 AM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
