Listers, I join with so many others who knew Evelyn Rono in offering our Ministrys deepest sympathy on her demise. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in her passing you can celebrate the end of a very productive life that leaves behind a legacy in our ICT sector. The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on her loss in this list is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that hers indeed was a life well-lived. May the immediate family and wider ICT family find peace and comfort in knowing that her loss is felt by all who knew and loved her. In Sympathy, Ndemo.

I join the ICT fraternity in mourning the loss of Evelyn Rono. It is a great loss not only to KDN but to the whole industry. I have known Evelyne for many years and even as I visited her in the ICU this past weekend, little did I know I'd be mourning this morning.
May God help all of us go through this very trying moment.

This is really shocking! I was with her a month ago at a wedding...she was all bubbly and smily.. and we planned to meet soon! Indeed life is short! May God rest her soul in everlasting peace! This really gets one to deeply reflect on life! She had great vision and so many ideas for where she would like to take ICT in Kenya. May she rest in eternal peace. The last respect remarks as have come in the way of Evelyne from this list and beyond evidences a lot of demonstrated concern for the industry and a firm interest in peoples affairs on her part. In all the moments I was fortunate to interact with her she really came out as one fully down to earth and eager to offer solutions as needed. Though it may sound too soon, there is no doubt that Evelyne's was a life well spent. May the good Lord grant peace to all sharing in the loss of our friend Evelyne. Fare thee well. Everlyne Rono was passionate with her work and very cheerful. It is sad that all that is no more now. What a loss to the family, friends and the ICT fraternity in Kenya. May God help us to bear it all. Rest in peace, Everlyne. I've had the privilege of knowing the late Evelyne Rono, as a family friend and in the ICT world. Her cheerful and bubbly nature will be missed by those that interacted with her. Trust God will keep her family and friends peacefully during this very trying time. -- Josiah Mugambi On Thu, Sep 15, 2011 at 5:51 PM, Andrew Limo <andrew.limo@yahoo.com> wrote:
