+2 @ Muraya. This is our number one problem - too much knowledge going to waste because nobody wants to leave their comfort zone. Instead of waiting for the government to call for proposals and always complaining about not having been consulted, the various professional bodies could work on proposals through their own initiative and work them into the political system. Hats off to those that I have seen do this already. *./Kamonye* On 25 June 2014 13:10, Gichuki John Chuksjonia via kictanet < kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:

@Murigi, Agreed. ISACA-Kenya or any other organisation may wish to contribute. But government must first avail the working (draft?) documents. Anyone with the Policy and/or proposed Cyvercrime bill? I only managed to see the draft Cybecrime strategy that was shared @ ConnectedKenya. walu. nb: problem with working on something without a formal invitation is that you face a high-risk of rejection. I.e your contribution may join a list of other neatly filed and frozen strategies that never see the light of day :-) -------------------------------------------- On Wed, 6/25/14, S.M. Per diems for a local event may be less than those for attending International seminars but may win some goodwill around the same.
