Facebook Oversight Board Call for Public Comments
Recently, the Oversight Board accepted a request from Meta, in the form of a policy advisory opinion, to review its cross-check system and make recommendations on how it can be improved. The public comment portal is now open until 10:00 ET/15:00 UTC on Friday, January 14th, 2022. The Board welcomes comments that examine: Whether a cross-check system is needed and if it strengthens or undermines the protection of freedom of expression and other human rights.
