Re: [kictanet] Equity says M-Pesa lines should be open

Thats Indonesian (I think) You can get it translated on Google Translate...but the gist of it is that
As many have pointed out, opening up Mpesa will benefit Safcom in the long run. As some have quoted the case of AT&T, if Safcom were to open up Mpesa, and may I suggest even setup Mpesa as a separate organization, the growth will enormous. I can foresee a scenario where the platform will penetrate the market segments that have eluded other electronic money transfer providers such as Visa/Mastercard- or even have collaborations with them. Imagine having someone deposit money into my Mpesa account in Nyamira- Kenya and be able to use my visa card at a shop in Helsinki! I only see benefits accruing to Safcom on this Kind regards, Edwin -----Original Message----- From: kictanet [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, August 06, 2013 12:54 PM To: Edwin Subject: kictanet Digest, Vol 75, Issue 17 Send kictanet mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit https://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/listinfo/kictanet or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [email protected] You can reach the person managing the list at [email protected] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of kictanet digest..."
