CA’s Position on Service Provider’s exclusive deals with MDU Owners.
Good evening Listers, Hope you are having a good weekend. => Ill be short and to the point: Say there is a large residential neighbourhood V.R. With a significantly large number of tenants: => Then a provider S, who wields considerable sway on the management of V.R. => Lets say there are clients , living in V.R who are interested in getting service from a different provider B. and B, on approaching V.R is told that they have signed an exclusive deal with S, to disallow anyone from accessing the market at V.R. It obviously can be argued either way considering there is a Willing Buyer, Willing Seller agreement there, But What exactly does CA have to say about this? I ask because some providers wield enough financial muscle to actually buy out my County and sign an exclusive deal with my Governor, preventing me from operating in my own backyard…. Collins I know what you mean and not sure how this can be handled beyond the home/office tenants themselves putting their foot down and calling BS as it should be called. Sometimes we don't need government to tell us what our rights are. We need to fight for them ourselves and use Serikali as a last resort.
