Best Solution Ive found is the Mobicom 3G modem @ 6k. Orange dongle gets you 4GB at 2k which seems to be more than enough for a couple of people for a month. Of course u can buy other unlimited bundles etc. as required. This solution is portable, u can configure the modem to any network, Safaricom, Airtel etc. Mandheer Singh Sehmi Customer Relations & Business Development Computech Limited Kenya|Tanzania|Uganda|Rwanda|Southern Sudan| 2nd Floor - Block A - Haven Court | Waiyaki Way | Nairobi P.O Box 59789 | Nairobi 00200 | Kenya Tel: +254 20 4443291-3 | 254 20 3544739/49 Mobile: +254 725 290 601 Email: mandhis@computechlimited.com BB ID: 20EC2373 Skype: mandhisehmi <http://www.computechlimited.com/> Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: Description: cid:image001.jpg@01CADB23.B402C860 From: kictanet-bounces+mandhis=gmail.com@lists.kictanet.or.ke [mailto:kictanet-bounces+mandhis=gmail.com@lists.kictanet.or.ke] On Behalf Of Muchiri Nyaggah Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2011 07:57 To: mandhis@gmail.com Cc: KICTAnet ICT Policy Discussions Subject: Re: [kictanet] Internet to the Home Zuku is KSh.1,500 for 256Kbps. I see cable installation everywhere, but I have not come across a provider aggressively advertising to Kenyans for broadband to the homes. Am I living in my own world? Anyone has an idea of a reliable provider with clean bandwidth to homes (not the bamba type connections) Edith _______________________________________________ kictanet mailing list kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke http://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/listinfo/kictanet This message was sent to: gerhard.may@gmail.com Unsubscribe or change your options at http://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/options/kictanet/gerhard.may%40gmail.com _______________________________________________ kictanet mailing list kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke http://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/listinfo/kictanet This message was sent to: muchiri@semacraft.com Unsubscribe or change your options at http://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/options/kictanet/muchiri%40semacraft.com
