It seems that the current structure is actually acting as a barrier which is preventing the IXP from being relocated to better infrastructure in one of the many data centers we have around the city (as was suggested by the member who raised the issue to me).
I had thought that KIXP had a backup location in a data center in NBO as well as the Mombasa IX, which is a separate peering mesh. Is that not so?
