Hi Gordon
just to draw your attention to your documentation on the
global_spam_virus file.
---------------------snip--------------------------------------
# If, on the other hand your backup MX servers are not running Exim4U
then, on the primary Exim4U
# installation, add the backup MX server
to /etc/exim/exim4U_backup_mx_rl_host_names (instead of
# exim4u_backup_mx_host_names) which will cause all relayed mail to be
filtered for spam but
# exempted from ratelimit checks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
i realize if you set a backup host on this file, when message from
"Verify sender hosts for selected large ISPs" and relay to the primary
host server the emails are discarded as fake domain accounts because
they messages are coming from your backup host and not one of the large
mail providers like hotmail.
i though i might just let you know.
Thanks
Kebba
