Walu - as convenor could you consider ensuring that the Parliamentary ICT Committee (list attached) know about this and similar events and that they are invited to attend. W. On Wed, Jul 20, 2016, at 02:25 PM, Walubengo J via kictanet wrote:

Just a quick update. We had what I believe a successful Validation workshop, graced by the PS, National Communications Secretariat & about 40 Listers. After the speeches, we tasked working groups to extract policy statements from the KICTAnet online discussion report and try map them onto various sections for the ICT Draft Policy. We shall share the reports from Working Groups once ready and adopt them as the KICTAnet recommendations during the upcoming National Stakeholders Workshop scheduled sometime in early August. Special thanks to the PS who spared time to sit through most of the sessions and ofcourse Strathmore University for being such a gracious host. Dear Listers, Sorry for the delayed feedback from the Validation Workshop. But now find attached the following two documents:1) The Working Draft (which summarised the bigger 60paged report into 23 Policy Oriented Statements)2) The Feedback Document (which tasked working groups to map the policy statements onto specific clauses within the Draft ICT Policy - no easy task! Plse go through and possibly prepare to come to the National Stakeholders Workshop on 17th August 2016 in case you feel we left out something important. regards. walu.
