I participated in the National Summit of Community Networks last year attended by over 200 people in Siaya and must admit that there was a lot of interest and enthusiasm on the Data Protection Conversation, i encountered the same at the end of the year during the Human Rights Defenders Academy co facilitated by Tatua.digital a KICTANet initiative. We are on the right path. I would only suggest that we make the process simpler and cost friendly to the micro small and medium enterprises. If possible we should eliminate any bureaucracy and allow the end users to do everything on their smartphones.
