BSA, the Business Software Alliance - a watchdog group against software piracy- has opened a hotline where informers call in and advice on which companies are running pirated software. A succesfull pointer leads to an immediate 50,000USD for the informer and ofcourse a fine for the company. Very interesting. Former (and disgruntled?) employees are apparently taking advantage of the offer and calling in quite frequently. Maybe a good reason to payup for Software or consider migrating to Open Source Solutions... walu. check the rest of the story out on: http://www.bsa.org/usa/press/newsreleases/San-Fran-settlement-Jan-2006.cfm
