Waudo Good point. I'd hesitate to bring in ICANN here. Rather I'd ask how involved is the African Union in this matter? The way this matter has gone and the way a non-African entity is literally holding Afrinic hostage is a matter of utmost importance for this continent. Am I missing something? Has there been a statement from the AU or any African Government addressing this issue? What is wrong with us? If I were at the Board Level of Afrinic the first thing I'd do is put a motion of the board to relocate the Afrinic HQ to a more hospitable African country. I understand that Board members are held to a non-disclosure agreement so they are probably muzzled from deliberating in public what we all need to know... *Ali Hussein* Fintech | Digital Transformation Tel: +254 713 601113 Twitter: @AliHKassim Skype: abu-jomo LinkedIn: http://ke.linkedin.com/in/alihkassim <http://ke.linkedin.com/in/alihkassim> Any information of a personal nature expressed in this email are purely mine and do not necessarily reflect the official positions of the organizations that I work with.
