Microsoft Kenya, TechSoup Kenya and Kenya Community Development Foundation (KCDF) cordially invite you to an ICT-4-Development convening on Thursday 13th October 2016 at the Pride Inn Hotel along, Westlands Road starting from 8.30AM – 4.00PM. Technology has a huge impact on how organisations achieve their goals across all sectors. The transformative potential of technology has become a key cornerstone in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of non-profits in their quest to address sustainable development programmes. The reality of embracing the true potential of technology is however made more challenging by the ever-changing environment that Non-profits operate in. This forces the Non-Profit sector to innovate and create progressive partnerships with private sector organisations as well as amongst themeselves to enhance their adoption and utilisation of ICT to increase the impact of their development programmes hence the objective of this convening. This convening aims to bring together over 200 IT professionals and Monitoring & Impact Assessment practitioners from the non-profit sector to come together and explore as well as share their experience in using ICT in improving their efficiency and effectiveness in their core mandates. The convening will also bring together critical ICT service providers to showcase some of the products that the Non Profit Sector can utilise in their operations while offering them at highly discounted prices. The convening will take the form of participatory plenary sessions as well as breakout sessions with a focus on experiential and practical applications and trends of ICT solutions as highlighted in the programme annexed with this invitation. Kindly confirm your attendance by 8th October 2016 through Lavenda Watila at <mailto:Lavenda.Watila@kcdf.or.ke> Lavenda.Watila@kcdf.or.ke or through Tel 0722 927559.
