Re: [kictanet] Music Copyright Owners sue ISPs for allowing Kenyans to download content illegally
Benard, Did you just used Mpesa as an example that there may be a way to block websites?:D There are several ways, the problem is do you want to turn us into China and have our own great firewall and violate our rights up and down the spectrum? How do we trust anyone not to use such a system to block free speech or even their competition? All the best, princelySid *Twitter:* @princelySid | *Website: *cdohnio.blogspot.com

How are music pirates being targeted by this petition? As a consumer of content what I see is a petition to censor the open nature of the Internet by blocking websites. On 29/01/2015 15:25, Bernard Kioko via kictanet wrote:

Oh I pirate music, movies... All of it foreign though. Software, not really. If you asked me why I do it, well I'm not going to pay 1000bob for something I'll only use once. And if I wanted to pay that 1000bob I would have to find a distributor, one that wasn't pirating too and it's so easy to find those and physically hand over my money. I just don't have time for that All the best, princelySid *Twitter:* @princelySid | *Website: *cdohnio.blogspot.com On Thu, Jan 29, 2015 at 3:25 PM, Bernard Kioko <bkioko@bernsoft.com> wrote:
