Listers Kenya Power is said to freeze new connections. Who is right? Should the government allow Kenya Power to operate without interference? Should the government fully liberalize the energy sector like it did the Telco sector? It is said that Egypt's power costs are 50% Kenya's. is this really true? Are there government subsidies attached to this? This would be understandable if they did not announce healthy profits each financial year. Is Kenya power a commercial company or a vital service to the country?
