Dear Edith, A micro sim card is really just a normal sim card with the edges clipped off. There is a shop on 1st floor of Kimathi house that will clip your normal sim card into micro sim card size using a sim cutter. It takes less than a minute and you get to retain all the information on your sim card. Listers, It's interesting to note that as we just starting to get the hang of, or even use micro sim cards, the nano sims expected to be used in iPhone 5 are out! 1. simplest is take out your sim card, look for someone with a cutter and cut it off. 2. If youre brave, get a micro SIM, align with your SIM making sure the metallic contacts align, snip snip snip. Just be careful your cuts are smooth and well finished, otherwise you risk getting it stuck in your device, especially for those devices where you need a pin to take it out... a nasty experience. 3. Walk to your customer care center for your provider and request for a sim swap, specifically ask for a micro sim. I have had experience with both safaricom and Orange, they DO have micro SIMS.
