Re: [kictanet] Kenya ICT Action Network Report on the Draft ICT Policy Feedback
Dear Dennis, Many thanks for taking time to review the report which acts as a feedback on feedback from stakeholders to the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology. Going forward we will have two stakeholder meetings, one organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology to respond to the feedback it received from the Public after the call that was made and one organized by KICTANET and Strathmore University Law School which will equally be attended by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology to validate the report and flesh out substantive issues that have to be incorporated into the draft report. Thank you Best Regards Walu and Barrack On 7/14/16, Dennis Muthuri via kictanet <kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:
Hi Walu and Barrack,
I’ve gone through the document and I’m impressed by the spirit of the draft. My feedback echoes Esther Nyamburas sentiments(page 54) on borrowing or refining the policies that have gone before us e.g. National ICT Master Plan, The National Broadband Strategy, Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policy e.t.c and that we should take as much time as we need if this is to serve us for the next 10 years and beyond.
Thanks.
