Dear Alex Thanks for this. Though I am not too sure I understand the message. Is Michiel Leenaars bringing together all inventors of IP to our Kenya event? If so thank you Michiel. We look forward. alice ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alex Gakuru" <[email protected]> To: "Michiel Leenaars" <[email protected]> Cc: "Alex CORENTHIN" <[email protected]>; "Alan Levin" <[email protected]>; "Emmanuel Njenga" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]>; "Victor Kyalo" <[email protected]>; "S K Kibe" <[email protected]>; "Michuki Mwangi" <[email protected]>; "Kemei, Christopher" <[email protected]>; "James Rege" <[email protected]>; "Dr. Juma Okech" <[email protected]>; "Damaris Kiuna" <[email protected]>; "Constantine Obuya" <[email protected]>; "Chiiru Njogu - Yahoo" <[email protected]>; "Brian Longwe" <[email protected]>; "Alice Munyua" <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 09, 2005 11:44 AM Subject: Fw: Postponement
Dear Colleagues,
Michiel Leenaars, The Director, The Internet Society (ISOC) Netherlands http://www.isoc.nl deserves our individual messages of appreciation and encouragement in his efforts to seek the presence of the inventors of the IP protocol on the weekend of 22-23 October 2005, as we celebrate a decade since first Internet connection in Kenya.
Please send this message to your colleagues and ISOC KE enthusiasts.
"It'd be the greatest technological honour, and the next best thing since sliced bread to happen to Kenya" - Alex Gakuru
Thank you!
Alex Gakuru

Hello Alex,
I was able to change the flight. Luckily the dates are not too problematic. I arrive at the 19th of october and fly back at the 25th at 10 in the evening. This leaves some time before the event to help you out with press releases, organisation of the meeting etc.
It sounds like a good idea to make 10 years of internet the starting point of your chapter. I would try and approach Vint Cerf or Robert Kahn (the inventors of the IP protocol) to see if one of them would be willing to come over on this special occassion. This would help gain maximum attention.
Best wishes, Michiel
