Dear Listers, in line with the government directive/request on cashless transactions,as a way to curb the spread of Corona virus, Matatu owners association and Transport Workers union endorsed the directive, however, our society is still yet to adopt it fully. 1.Are we on the path to Digital economy and Financial inclusion? Is Corona crisis a perfect timing? 2.What are the gaps? I'd be glad to hear your thoughts. @ Mwendwa, on the solution, Safaricom has come up with 3 propositions 1. A zero rated BuyGoods Till number. 2.MSME proposition where an individuals number(conductors) has two wallets in the backend; Personal and Business wallet. 3.The send option for p2p with the number whitelisted to prevent reversals.
