+1 It's not a privilege Kibaki has given us. It's a right we pay for. On Tue, Apr 24, 2012 at 16:08, Charles Mutsi <cmutsi@yahoo.com> wrote:

We have always been a country of complaining and criticizing.
I applied for a passport renewal on 2nd April 2012 and collected the new passport on 19th April. That was within 11 working days. The automation and workflow seems to be working smooth;y.
These are the positives that we did not have 10 years ago.
Probably listers can also count their blessing for the last 10 years.

Hi Charles, Wash, You used to pay for it 10+ years ago too. I think what Kivuva is driving at is that (hopefully) corruption has reduced and efficiency increased (at least in this area) under Kibaki's tenure. On Tue, Apr 24, 2012 at 4:10 PM, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com>wrote:

Thank you Brian Ngure. A wise man said "A step at a time is good walking". We always complain how our internet is erratic, how telecommunication companies are giving us a raw deal, e.t.c. Yet all these services are offered by the private sector. When one section of government becomes efficient, we hope and pray it will infect other organs. One day KPLC/Kengen/GDC/ketraco shall provide us with enough AFFORDABLE energy, and Nairobi water will offer enough CLEAN water, and our quality of life will change immensely. And when that time comes, should we shout how it is our rights, or should we look back where we have come from and be grateful? 10rdmwesh On 24/04/2012, Brian Ngure <brian@pixie.co.ke> wrote:
