Ndemo.
Is there anyone at the ICT Board that can give us an update on this?

Dear Paul,
Many thanks for this. I have had a chance to look through the document.
The strategic pillar is pretty good. I particularly like the Digital Economy Development especially with regard to the SME sector.
We have recently launched into the market a cloud SME business management tool called OpenBusiness (www.openbusiness.co.ke). You can have a look at it.
I am very glad to see the work you and the ICT board are steering. Kenyan SMEs are responding to the siren call of the regional market and effectively positioning themselves especially in the Common Market for East and Central Africa (COMESA) region.
Enabling SMEs run their operations smoothly and efficiently is really one of the invaluable ways we in the ICT sector can collectively boost in the digital economy development. The SME sector needs affordable operational tools.
I notice emphasis on partnerships in the delivery of key outcomes in the masterplan. We already engaged in PPPs especially to facilitate compliance and ease of doing business. We are happy to engage in this.
Again, very well done!
NB: I am volunteering in one of the strategic committees > Development of ICT Businesses.
Regards, Muthoni
