Victor Kyalo confirmed as first ICT Authority CEO
Eish! Looks like Victor has already grabbed my job! I was looking forward to applying...were the interviews done at night? But then again, I recall that the legal notice setting up ICT Authority allows the CS/Board to unilaterally appoint the 1st CEO. Either way, am too busy for now - but next time I will make sure I am on the "ballot" for CEO ICT Authority. walu. -------------------------------------------- On Thu, 3/20/14, Grace Githaiga <ggithaiga@hotmail.com> wrote: Subject: [kictanet] Victor Kyalo confirmed as first ICT Authority CEO To: jwalu@yahoo.com Cc: "KICTAnet ICT Policy Discussions" <kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> Date: Thursday, March 20, 2014, 7:37 PM http://www.cio.co.ke/news/main-stories/victor-kyalo-confirmed-as-first-ict-a... -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ kictanet mailing list kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke https://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/listinfo/kictanet Unsubscribe or change your options at https://lists.kictanet.or.ke/mailman/options/kictanet/jwalu%40yahoo.com The Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet) is a multi-stakeholder platform for people and institutions interested and involved in ICT policy and regulation. Walu, you are insinuating there are Ndemo orphans around? It's great to see a staunch Kictaneter get to high office. I hope he uplifts this list by making the list as engaging as possible. I also hope this animal he helped engineer called Kictanet does not come back and bite him. The CIO article is note very thorough and misses some wow factor about Victor. For example, in 1988, Victor Graduated from the University of Nairobi with a BSc (1st class) Electrical Engineering and worked at Philips Advanced Interactive Development research group in Holland as an interactive software developer. Here is an older version of his CV https://profiles.uonbi.ac.ke/files/130410_victor2_cv.pdf Walu, you need some bit of reading to compete with Victor. Lakini najua hata wewe si mchache. Dr. Ndemo's orphans are many and scattered - and
@GG, That is the first therapy in my manual for "moving on" (@Barrack?) You need to see the other/funny side of things. If God gives you a lemon (instead of the sweet orange) you make "lemonade" and drink it. Anyway - Congrats to Victor are in order, but he should watch out for Mutoro @ http://cofek.co.ke/index.php/14-news/404-why-cofek-is-opposed-to-non-competi... Hi Walu, I have accepted and moved on, actually we were to organise a small homecoming for the PS and CS , we can include Victor as well. Best Regards On Mar 21, 2014 6:44 PM, "Walubengo J" <jwalu@yahoo.com> wrote:

Walu, you are insinuating there are Ndemo orphans around? It's great to see a staunch Kictaneter get to high office. I hope he uplifts this list by making the list as engaging as possible. I also hope this animal he helped engineer called Kictanet does not come back and bite him.
The CIO article is note very thorough and misses some wow factor about Victor. For example, in 1988, Victor Graduated from the University of Nairobi with a BSc (1st class) Electrical Engineering and worked at Philips Advanced Interactive Development research group in Holland as an interactive software developer. Here is an older version of his CV https://profiles.uonbi.ac.ke/files/130410_victor2_cv.pdf
Walu, you need some bit of reading to compete with Victor. Lakini najua hata wewe si mchache. Regards ______________________

Walu, your campaign reminds me of the now silent Robert Yawe's campaign to be Post Master General. It seems he gave up after he refused to lick who's who's boots. Start by writing good things about the powers that be, and a government appointment might be on the way. I believe Dr. Victor Kyalo's regime will bring good tidings. The momentum is already there. Have you seen this? http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Corporate-News/Philips-opens-its-first-Af... Royal Phillips opens it's first African research lab in Nairobi.
