An upcoming techie / future Kenyan CIO tried to find consulting work in South Africa in and realized how backwards we are in Kenya. He did not possess 80% of the skills they require. In South Africa he would not be a Consultant directly getting jobs from IT Managers. The particular technologies he is now mastering have some pretty heavy hardware requirements most individual consultants in Kenya do not invest in. :)
