True that. The Diplo Internet Governance course was for me a perfect bridge between my ICT Technical background and the Policy world (the reverse Policy-->Technical should work too). And now plans are underway to have this course localized (through Multimedia University) to make it more relevant for the Region. So if you belong to any of the following target group, plse apply: • officials in government ministries and departments dealing with Information Society, Internet and ICT-related issues (e.g., telecommunications, education, foreign affairs, justice); • officials in regulatory authorities or institutions dealing with Information Society, Internet and ICT-related issues • postgraduate students, academics and researchers in the IG field (e.g., in telecommunications, electrical engineering, law, economics, development studies); • civil society activists in the IG and Information Society fields; • journalists covering IG issues; • individuals in Internet-business fields (e.g., ISPs, software developers). walu. --- On Tue, 1/26/10, mwende njiraini <mwende.njiraini@gmail.com> wrote: From: mwende njiraini <mwende.njiraini@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [kictanet] Call for Applications for Capacity Development online programme in Internet Governance and ICT Policy To: "Walubengo J" <jwalu@yahoo.com> Cc: "KICTAnet ICT Policy Discussions" <kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> Date: Tuesday, January 26, 2010, 10:06 AM Dear Walu, Thank you for posting this...
