Threats to our Internet freedom remain plentiful

I don,t think there's any legal justification, but it calls for us to be watchful. On Thu, Nov 24, 2016 at 1:26 PM, Sidney Ochieng <sidney.ochieng@gmail.com> wrote:

There is some beast they always unleash and it's called "Threat to National Security". That would be the law. By the time you get around to challenging the action, the intended result will have been achieved. On 24 November 2016 at 13:26, Sidney Ochieng via kictanet < kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:

Many thanks for sharing Liz. The threat is very real and the more reason for us to continue pushing for the enactment of the Data Protection act. And just to add on Henry's what Henry insisted on during the school is that on techies as well as bloggers being a part of the policy conversations around this. We all have a part to play in protecting our online space and we all need to be aware that the threats are real.
