Defeats the purpose of VPN. A virtual private network provides users online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection. VPNs mask your internet protocol (IP) address so your online actions are virtually untraceable. Also, how will the government enforce this directive? Will they raid the devices of Tanzanian users to check if they are using VPNs?
