Government to stop accepting manual payments in 3 weeks
Hi Taxpayers, An article in yesterday's Standard quotes the Information CS as saying government will stop accepting "manual" payments in 3 weeks. If that does happen, it will go quite a long way in stemming revenue leaks and improving service delivery for the government, saving the tax payer in revenue losses and increasing efficiency and service delivery. Let us all pray and fast that it really does happen https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/mobile/?articleID=2000106758&story_title=state-gears-up-to-shut-down-all-manual-payment-systems -- with Regards: blog.denniskioko.com <http://www.denniskioko.com/>
So this country cannot switch to Digital Broadcasting but we can change so that Government will accept payments "digitally". I don't know if to celebrate or be saddened by this.
