Here is the word of God for today that I felt was so appropriate to the way many of us who feel so strongly about what's going on in our country. Let us pray with one voice, for our God is still and always will be in Control. He gave us hope and we must believe that all things are possible in Him. It is for us to do what is right in His sight that will lift us up in our situations. The word of God is power in itself. *Verse: Luke 21:28* *Look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near.* *- Sometimes things can get us down. - Perhaps we think that things will never change. - The issue is that things do change. - We must look up and expect it to happen.* *PRAYER: Lord, I look to You. You are my deliverer and You will make a way for me. I will not be discouraged but I will lift up my head and trust You. Amen. *-- Be blessed. Lizette Lizette Kraft P.O. Muraya, you forgot to mention that twitter has a new interface - another avenue for highlighting our issues. Liz, well, I find it relative, for our redemprion is near - the cost of internet + voice calls will drop soon, the time it takes to register a company will be just 36 HRS, firms which are selling data will be bound by SLA and KPLC will either have a (non-state) competitor or be providing services as it should. By the way, how far is the digital switch going on? Andrea, religious issues can sometimes lead to people fighting, but hey, they remain part of our lives - sometimes as they say, a change is as good as a rest (for just a moment), and thus rest my case. My point isn't religion. I'm all for religious freedom, and I don't aspire to a USSR/North Korea state of affairs. But I have subscribed to this list for ICT issues. If I wanted bible excerpts, or any other religious texts, or celebrity gossip, or descriptions of yoga postures, or information on dog breeds, I'd go somewhere else. Ladies and gentlemen… We seem to be going off on a tangent. Do we call for a cessation of hostilities…? Practically speaking, and if we are to be honest to ourselves, this list has and indeed continue to cover a diverse range of topics of such immense informative, educative, inspirational, etc – value to every one of us. For instance; · Did anyone just see an informative post earlier on from Washington, regarding the Southern Bypass..? · Is it of value to anyone on this list, and beyond. Can it save lives…? · Has it been informative to anyone, and is there anything to be thankful about for being informed…? · Can ICT be part of the solution, to these kind of challenges that face us..? If anyone would answer yes, to anyone of the questions above, then let’s be sincere to each other and avoid burying our heads in the sand like the proverbial ostrich… Harry From: kictanet-bounces+harry=comtelsys.co.ke@lists.kictanet.or.ke [mailto:kictanet-bounces+harry=comtelsys.co.ke@lists.kictanet.or.ke] On Behalf Of Andrea Bohnstedt Sent: Friday, December 09, 2011 12:36 PM To: harry@comtelsys.co.ke Cc: KICTAnet ICT Policy Discussions Subject: Re: [kictanet] The Word for Your Soul My point isn't religion. Let us pray with one voice, for our God is still and always will be in Control. He gave us hope and we must believe that all things are possible in Him. It is for us to do what is right in His sight that will lift us up in our situations. The word of God is power in itself. Verse: Luke 21:28 Look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near. - Sometimes things can get us down. - Perhaps we think that things will never change. - The issue is that things do change. - We must look up and expect it to happen. PRAYER: Lord, I look to You. You are my deliverer and You will make a way for me. I will not be discouraged but I will lift up my head and trust You. Amen. -- Be blessed. Lizette Lizette Kraft P.O.
