@Likhanga, That's the question I asked myself too. I did put my ID number and it returned no Party, which is fine, because I am not a member of any political party. After that I did test for 1, 01 and 001, which to me are supposed to be one and the same number (or so I thought). I looked at the names and the DoBs returned and my brain reached /etc (end of thinking capacity) as regards the integrity of the data. However, the fact that it returns data for ID numbers of people as registered with some political parties when they did not raises some serious integrity issues. But is this website (and facility for the queries) official? Does the ORPP say this is official? Kenyans wouldn't bother though. They'll whine in social media and move on. What is more worrying is the amount of raw data that platform spews to the public. Yes this an official service is provided by the ORPP and is even linked form their website at http://orpp.or.ke/ In 2013 this service was provided using the ORPP SMS shortcode but looks like that is no longer active. My main fear is what Mwendwa has shared, I bet our details have all been harvested multiple times by now! These are questions the registrar of political parties should be answering.
