GG, Looks like the Operators are trying to "SELF" regulate the industry through the two Principals :-). And now that the Chairman Eng. I've been having some unresolved headache concerning this issue. My matter, is generally asking, why did the President's Private Secretary have to write to MoIC concerning MTRs? Could he have hidden interests? Also, did Prof. Wanjohi approach this issue in a personal capacity using the President's seal? In my little opinion, if the law said we lower the MTRs to this much the CCK should go ahead and implement it, then wait to see if Wanjohi would fire the whole of CCK board and staff. Hehee. The more things change, the more they remain the same! This discussion can go on and on, but Dr. Ndemo already explained the dilemma (sp?) Kenya is in - why things are happening the way they are. I think we can all make noise behind our keyboards (typical of Kenyans), but only certain forms of action can bring the changes we want.
