I have this nagging feeling that the Kenyan psychi is being gradually tempered for a certain “kind of leadership” in the not too distant future. It seems with each passing day we slowly get subjected to worse and worse, testing limits, creating FUD. In light of not so distant terrorist attacks (from which the airport has barely recovered) as well as increased security measures I am not surprised. Media should not think that they can just go anywhere they please...or should they? Mblayo On Tue, Mar 27, 2018 at 3:12 PM Barrack Otieno via kictanet < kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:

Yes, actually they should, because that's their job. And if there were security concerns, then those can be communicated rather than physically attacking journalists. On 27 March 2018 at 15:39, Brian Munyao Longwe via kictanet < kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:

Colleagues, This is an emotive matter but as the wise men say a messenger should never be hurt. It behoves us as stakeholders in Information and Communications Technology to condemn such unwarranted attacks on freedom of information, the attacks on the journalists were unwarranted since they were out to get their daily bread. We can do better as a country at tolerating divergent views. Best Regards On Tue, Mar 27, 2018 at 6:31 PM, Andrea Bohnstedt via kictanet < kictanet@lists.kictanet.or.ke> wrote:
