Kenya's ICT Policy development process
Was hoping someone might be able to help. I am a PhD student at the University of Leeds doing my research on the ICT policy development process in Kenya - looking specifically at the role of the media and multi-stakeholder processes in the development of the 2006 National ICT Policy. I have been looking online for a copy of the draft ICT policy which was released in October 2004, but have not been able to find anything. Can anyone send me a copy or point me in the direction of where I could find one - if it is available electronically? I would really appreciate your feedback or help in this regard. Solomon, As Walu assists Vanessa, I hope she is aware that the ICT Policy was passed in 2006 and is even under review currently. If I am not wrong at some point in the near future the Stakeholders' may discuss the reviewed document; I cannot confirm that with certainty as that is not my docket. It really does not make sense to be trying to retrieve the 2004 draft as alot changed after that. Kindly let Vanessa know that it may help to get in touch directly with NCS, they should be able to help her somehow and even avail the document she is looking for. Hi I am aware that the policy was passed in 2006, but I wanted to get a copy of the previous draft so I could analyse changes (if any) that had occured and why they had come about. Thanks to everyone for their comments and help, I have a managed to get a copy of the draft published in October 2005. Hope you dont mind if I write again in the future with any questions or queries. Cheers, Vanessa Quoting Catherine Adeya <elizaslider@yahoo.com>:
