CA Press release on PETYA ransomware attack
Listers, The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA), through the National Kenya Computer Incident Response Team Coordination Centre (National KE-CIRT/CC), has received confirmed reports of an encryption-based cyber-attack that is targeting computers running the Windows Operating system. The virus that is in the form of ransom-ware has infected computers in many countries across the globe.
