Fw: Public Notice on Public Consultations on Sector Regulations
Lister, CA has public consultations this coming Monday 18th April at Laico Regency Nairobi form 8:00AM As attached below, plse make time to attend and contribute. Do not wait to complain later that you were not consulted - typical Kenyan move :-) walu ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "Alwala, Rachel" <Alwala@ca.go.ke> To: "jwalu@yahoo.com" <jwalu@yahoo.com> Sent: Friday, April 15, 2016 12:27 PM Subject: Public Notice on Public Consultations on Sector Regulations Dear Walu, As agreed, please post this on the KICTANET list and remember to facilitate my address back. Thank you. Rachel
Walu This is commendable. However a polite request to CA and other government agencies. A little bit of notice would really help to get more people to participate in this public discussions. I personally received my invite on Friday, the 15th of April. The event is today. Surely abit more planning is required for something as important as this? This is a perennial problem with government agencies who seek public participation. Why the short notice? If I didn't know better I would think that they want to keep participation as low key as possible.
