Video Conferencing Schools
Listers, When I requested for volunteers, I wanted to utilize some of your resource with the Network for Non-formal instutions based on Jogoo Road and teaching through teleconferencing at Soweto and Korogocho. After my visit to their facilities, I was touched with what they do. Please contact them directly if you are able to spend sometime helping with IT solutions. You will not regret. This is a great initiative. When is/was the launch? I'm learning about how to use ICT to accelerate education in Kenya. I would like to estabvlish such an initiative for Adult learners in rural Kenya. On 22/08/2011, Network of non- formal Educational institutions <nnfeischools@yahoo.com> wrote:

PS, I too recently decided to dedicate my time to the Night Schools project. If supported, many youth in informal settlements and rural towns may go back to schools and could get another chance to improve their chances of disrupting the cycle of poverty and illiteracy among their communities. Thanks for highlighting and even finding time to support the project. I missed the launch. I would have been with you there.
