I am not in any way belittling such noble efforts, the question is can they take us to the promised land? Barrack, I agree with you. It takes ages before one gets connected to KPLC, not to mention the prohibitive costs. Even the so-called rural electrification programme remains a pipe dream to most homes. My family had to wait for three years before we were finally connected in our rural home in Alego. Under the circumstances, solar power can easily move in to fill the void. What do others have to say?
