Hi, I requested for a data set on the Opendata platform and received an email confirming that the dataset was now available unfortunately no instructions where given on how to access it and I have finally given in. Is there anyone out there who is familiar with accessing specific data sets, any assistance at this stage will definitely reduce my hair loss. Robert Linet Kwamboka the open data coordinator will be in touch with you about this shortly. Normally the data sets you see on the site at www.opendata.go.ke are all that's available online for download. Let us know if the issue is unresolved. Robert, I am in a similar predicament. I am interested in Motor Vehicle data, I sent a request, it was approved, and NOTHING is in there! Robert, Edward, Listers Thank you for getting into the opendata website and working through the data sets. Two issues. 1. generally when users request for information on specific data sets, these requests should be responded to expeditiously. This we will endeavour to improve. We would also like to encourage posting of inquiries comments via twitter @kenyaopendata. 2. Some data sets that users would like to have are not yet available as open data. This is an ongoing process as some data owners are still being brought on board with the idea. The site launched with 100 odd data sets. Now there are 400 and growing. We appreciate the feedback.
