I think the point on online etiquette has been made and we should let this thread rest.
And there we go. A leading African ICT think-tank has solved the crisis by orchestrating a turn-around based on etiquette...insinuating, now the PS and Maina can meet on the periphery and form an ICT grand coalition thing. I do not condone prosecution in the public domain without establishing the facts, but a professional courtesy call to understand Maina's [maybe miscontrued] thoughts and protocol driven clarification from the PS, would have left us all in better place rather than blanket censure for or against the aggrieved party, which is not clear at this stage. Its pathetic, how we have solved this problem.

Bill, I dont think the intention was to solve a 'problem' if there was any. The point is that as an ICT online forum, we are neither the Police, Anti-corruption Authority nor the Judiciary. Whether or not the accusations are true or false is really out of depth for this forum and members are encourage to seek the correct forum for the same. walu. --- On Thu, 10/9/08, Bill Kagai <billkagai@gmail.com> wrote:

In other words, Kictanet consists a bunch of hoi polloi. We need to grow balls otherwise, what's the point of being in a toothless list. Sometimes, you do not wait to be given powers and roles....you create them for yourself.
