Will thugs rule the web? Beware the UN power grab
Dear all, I find this article bothering on hate speech but the guy has some valid points. Judge for yourself. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/opinion/opedcolumnists/will_thugs_rule_the_web_... Best Regards, Davis M Onsakia "One doesn't discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time."
Hi Davis, Valid points - maybe. The NY Post though is a popular right wing media outlet, and a print version of fox news - in fact they share the same owner. They tend to be (in many ways) anti-UN, anti-liberal/Obama, global warming non-believers and everything else in between. Also like the Sun in the UK (same owner again), they're prone to sensationalist journalism, so I'd take 'most' things they say with a grain of salt. Regards, David. David Besides the sensationalism and the personal attacks lets not throw the baby out with the bath water. There are very valid points that can be culled out of the right wing diatribe. Greetings from Dubai. Though I can't speak for any delegation here, I will say that I do not ascribe to the tone of that article. We are all trying to address many problems and hope to have constructive and respectful dialog. I look forward to meeting some of you here. :-) Have a safe journey.
