Dear all, During the Kenya IGF we got acquainted with Dr Mutuma Ruteere, the UN special rapporteur on on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance. Racism, xenophobia et al are being propagated on the Internet and while some years back this was being done "out there", it is increasingly coming home. Dr Mutuma is carrying out a study on Racism, xenophobia et al on the Internet and is seeking views from stakeholders. He will shortly be posting questions on the same. Please welcome him to the list! A little about him: Mutuma Ruteere is Kenyan and serves as Director, Centre for Human Rights and Policy Studies, an independent research centre based in Nairobi Kenya. His research and publication is in the field of human rights. He also teaches university courses on human rights, international law and international politics.
