The Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology has established a Working Group to align the ICT sector policy and legislation with the Constitution of Kenya.****

The mandate of the Working Group is to develop a draft policy and bill for the implementation of Article 34 of the Constitution and to undertake consultative meetings with relevant stakeholders and members of the public on the draft proposals.****

In this regard, the Working Group has developed a draft ICT sector policy and a draft Kenya Information and Communications (Amendment) Bill.****

The Working Group is scheduled to hold a Stakeholders Consultation Forum on 9th July 2013 at the Kenya Commercial Bank Leadership Centre - Karen to discuss the draft regulatory instruments. The Forum will kick off from 9.00 am.****
