Evans, What has just happened with the response from Dr. Ndemo is the propagation of institutionalised mediocrity, it is such oversights that led CPM to lose the deal with IBM for the PC which ended up being swept up by Microsoft. Assume that it was a large Silicon Valley company that was trying to contact the KICT Board to get information on setting up in Konza and were not members of this list, what would they have done? Gone elsewhere, lets realise that some of this small "gestures of help" are more detrimental to the Nation than you might think. Dr. Ndemo, the term is spare the rod and spoil the board. Ndemo.
Majala, no one has an excuse to be rude to customers, regardless of the industry in which they work.
On the other hand, I have been trying to get across to the ICT Board on the email addresses provided but I cant get any feedback for the 2nd day now. Even tried twitter. I also tried contacting them for info regarding Konza City, again on the contact details provided on the Konza website, but nothing...

Does the ICT Board have a training service on Customer Service ? Client Relations? Some of our companies urgently need the service.
A number of web-design / graphic design firms in Nairobi tend to have extremely terrible customer service manners going to the the extent of believing that being rude and hanging up on clients who are asking for clarification of services is an acceptable thing to do. Kehl Design Agency<http://kehldesign.com>is an offending firm. Does anyone know
their Directors ?
I don't know if this is solely tagged to the fact that creatives are known to be volatile but if we are to create a culture of good customer service within our industry then such instances should have repercussions e.g. #gotissuez #twitterbigstick and more...
