Straight to the point and I like the inclusion of doubt of technology in the US. I think another issue here us that IEBC failed to have contingency plans in place(though we can argue that paper is a fall back plan - however, this was not expressly stated, that in case of technology failure, we would resort to paper).
From here, maybe I can suggest Dr. , is there a way technology can be made trustworthy for elections, such as maybe making procurement of systems open and also making the systems architecturally open for scrutiny.
I feel the mistrust comes from people not knowing what happens "in there"
